A true testament of generosity as Primedia Outdoor recently hosted its 2nd annual edition of Agency Soup Run, an initiative that is purely organised to take ad agencies’ personnel on a treat during the winter season.
This year’s three week long affair ran only in Johannesburg and Cape Town from 6 July 2018 to 27 July 2018 which saw over 12 eminent agencies being the recipients of this winter spoil. Primedia Outdoor had several key representatives joining hands to serve mouth-watering soup for only R5 per cup to almost 900 staffs, collectively.
Continuing to exemplify the Mandela 100 legacy, the event aimed to raise funds and make a cash donation to a non-profit organisation helping underprivileged children and elderly, House of Hope.
Since its inception in 2008, the organisation has been making a difference and investing in Gauteng-based charities that provide valuable community services by hosting some of the most spectacular fun days to spend time with the needy and show companionship as best as they can.
Speaking on the magnitude of the donation, Melinda van der Merwe, Chairperson of House of Hope said, “We are extremely overwhelmed with the kindness that has been shown to us by Primedia Outdoor in endorsing our agenda to change the lives of those in need and spreading hope through significant acts of compassion”.
